Pickering Creek Audubon Center is a 400-acre working farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland situated next to the tidal Pickering Creek in Talbot County, Maryland. The Center's property features a variety of habitats including mature hardwood forest, fresh and brackish marsh, meadow, tidal and non-tidal wetlands, over a mile of shoreline on a tidal creek, and cropland.
Maryland requires all students graduate high school as environmentally literate citizens. Pickering Creek Audubon Center is leading the way on the Shore to provide meaningful outdoor experiences throughout the school career.
It is now easier than ever to support Pickering Creek's conservation of natural resources through environmental education and outreach on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
Learn if donating non-cash property is the right choice for you. Consider stocks, bonds or even land that you own as an alternative to giving cash. Non-cash property enables you to support Audubon while conserving cash for other uses. Often donating stocks, bonds or even land produces greater tax savings than gifts of cash.
With our programs expanding, your direct support of Audubon's work at Pickering becomes even more important.
