The Audubon Watershed Experience program (AWE) connects all Talbot County high school biology students to the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Participating students engage in meaningful learning through comprehensive in-school lessons and an outdoor field experience. Throughout the program the students will study Chesapeake Bay ecosystems, habitat restoration, and environmental stewardship. After completing the program, the students find ways to pass their new knowledge on through mentoring programs and social media campaigns.
The websites below are used by high school students as investigative tools as they study some of the issues impacting the health and resources of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
